It was one of the few movies of this year that I was really looking forward to seeing.

I don't know. If it had been released in October, the chances of getting nominated for Oscars would have been greater. But considering it's coming out in February, it might be too early for award season. People might not remember it when it comes time for the nominations. Of course it's a Scorsese movie with Leo in it, so it probably has better chances than 'normal' movie would.
