After last night, I came to the conclusion that such a thread would be a good idea. That hostility among some Katherine and Shiri Fans is a real shame in my opinion and makes people who are a fan of both actresses and/or their characters uncomfortable. I think we should show some courage and put paid to that. Tolerance and co-existance shouldn't be impossible goals.

So let's start here: This should be a place for Katherine and Shiri Fans. Fans of Liz and Isabel - seperately as well as friends or even lovers.

OK...My fave Isabel/Liz moment has to be the "bonding over nail polish" scene! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] It's a Lizzard classic! And on a slightly more hostile tone, the 285 South Jeep scene:

ISABEL: The perfect Liz Parker lying to her mother?

LIZ: Yeah, well, at least she knows what species I am.

MAX: Let's just find them and bring them back home.

I love how Max is careful not to side with either of them!

I liked how Liz wasn't afraid to stand up to Isabel in that episode! For some reason, she conquered all her fears of "Queen Amidala"! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I think she sincerely wanted to win Isabel's trust and show her that she wasn't a threat - as in she wouldn't tell anyone about the aliens. Honestly I thought that through the Roswell TV series that they should have developped that a little more - Isabel totally needed a friend she could confide in.

I think they made an effort to work on the Isabel/Maria friendship but overtime, neglected to pay much attention to that of Isabel & Liz... [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

There was definitely potential there for some good storylines, but I guess they chose not to go down that route.

Afterall, Isabel was the main secondary character. It was HER who came next in the credits after Liz & Max & it was HER who received the biggest (and even though they were the worst) storylines after the primary twosome.

They should have made it a priority to develop their relationship.

Great idea!! I think both actresses and characters are wonderful!!!
A special Liz/Isabel moment I liked... they weren't really together but I like it when Isabel pitches in at the Crashdown while Liz is with her dying grandmother at the hospital. Isabel even tells Max that he should go to Liz because Liz needed him, even though she had been telling him to stay away from Liz.
To me that was special, because even though it wasn't the 2 of them together Isabel was helping and looking out for Liz.
Another one that I just thought of is when Isabel is trying to contact Max when he is in New York with the Dupes. It takes both Liz and Isabel to reach him. Isabel tells Liz, (quoting the best I can recall)
"If there is anyone who can reach my brother in this world it is you."

Just wonderful scenes I think!!

Whenever I see those pictures that Nikki used in the banner at the top of the page, I always think Katie looks like Shiri's mom! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] Katherine looks so old with that suit & hairstyle & Shiri looks like her daughter!

[img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] - no I totally get your point Sarah - I think Kathie's "Season 3 Isabel" hairstyle made her look a lot more mature than before with that long, blonde and straight hair. furthermore when it comes to that picture I used - Shiri was dressed more casually with the spaghetti strap top, while Kathie wore a blazer and that blouse that made her look so elegant. So I guess the thing is it's (a) Kathie's hairstyle and (b) that Kathie seemed kind of dressed up while Shiri went for the casual look. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
