Love Comes Softly & Love's Enduring Promise Thread

Either I missed it or there wasn't a thread for this; I looked on all 8 pages. Thought we could talk about Katherine's two Hallmark channel films "Love Comes Softly" and "Love's Enduring Promise".

Finally got to see Love Comes Softly although I missed the first hour of it. I might as well just rent that one on dvd. I am a sap when it comes to romance so these two films did it for me.

I haven't seen the first one, but I did catch LEP on Hallmark a few months back.

I love these movies. I like the first one better. It's such a great story and the acting is amazing in both of them. I have both of them on DVD. I want to read the books

Yup, I think there's at lease five of them in the series. My friend read the first three and she says they're great

I found the site here

It has the list of the books and a description of them. Hope it helps

Are the books any good? I'm thinking of getting Love Comes Softly.

Who said you can't have both VHS and DVD?

I have both of them on DVD. I only have two DVD players in the house and a portable one. One of the DVD players is acting up so we only have one and it's in the main room but my dad often calls that TV so I can only watch it around the afternoon or morning LOL. We have a scheldule. I wish I got it on VHS as well but hardly nothing else is out on VHS, thanks to modern technology now. Oh well

I liked LCS better then LEP. LEP is more about Missie's journey and love triangle. The first one's more about Marty. In my opinion, the first one's a classic. The second one is good but not as good. There wasn't much Marty in it which is a huge bummer
