it's crazy, but I'm sure we will feel sad after the epi

No!

Katie had to leave for a movie shooting, so Izzie's gone for like 5 episodes or so

As for the episode, it was good, but I think the weakest for this season, Izzie's departure was so poorly written, wonder how the writers thought it was awesome, we and they really make a bad pairing

Really! I mean, they thought it was awesome... how, exactly? A note? Not telling Alex she'd been fired and leaving him to think that she left because of him? Sorry, I've read better fanfic than that. Gotta listen to that podcast and try to figure out what the hell they were thinking.

I couldn't disagree more, this episode was strong/solid and gave KH lots of great moments. My favorite was when she basically told Charles, without saying it out loud, that he'll never be the surgeon George was.

And of course her plea to the chief, that she doesn't know who she is without being a surgeon. It was just artfully done. I enjoyed it. We all knew she was going to be gone for the hiatus and I thought they handled it well. I look forward to her return now that everything has been shaken up. And I like the mystery aspect of that Izzie just disappeared without a warning to Alex, basically just the note. Cause otherwise it might've been hard for them to just have her always be home but not on-camera. Idk, I am enjoying this new season despite TR's absence.

Ofcos I agree the episode had moments for Katie to show her talent but you're the first I saw who loved it so much

but for alot of ppl how she left her husband wasn't right, but now I don't really care, we all know why Izzie had to leave in the first place

first of all, it was a great epi (for me) loved the concept, how it was presented and everything...

... especially Alex, (Justin) was awesome, after last weeks pout

( when i wanted to hug him and comfort him) i didnt expect this week's emotions, i thought he would be the Alex that was there in S01

while watching, there was only one word that came to my mind to describe everything that happened and why, and Derek said it in the end, 'Chaos'..

when it ended, i thought, oh my god that was so obvious, she didnt do her check up well... but while watching i didnt even realize it ( i admit, mostly cox i was paying more attention to SGers and not MWers

)

the one thing that i did notice was its similarities to S02 finale where Izzie cut the LVED and everyone is brought in, they (SGers) all stood by her, no one was willing to tell the truth, but this time everyone told the truth, and when Reed realized who it was, she told the chief

( BTW how did she realize it, i mean she had her back to the patient who died at the time

)
