I love the title! I'll post the pics of my seafood dinner tomorrow.

And as for your question about how I'm handling being away from school, I hate it lol. I miss being on my own again as well as my friends.

It's definitely awesome that you love the school, environment. How long before you go back?

So last night I went to see Florence + the Machine at Barclay. She was great, running all over the stage. She did about 15 songs and went into the audience for 2 of them. I didn't get home until abut 1am and now I'm dead tired. I'm trying not to fall asleep at work.

I go back August 28.

Sounds like a great concert! Did she come near you when she went into the audience?

Hope you guys have a great weekend! Any plans?

She came near us briefly the first time because she ran around the perimeter of the lower level and then stood on the opposite side of us for maybe 5 minutes.

Sounds like a great concert.

BTW, I missed being on my own when I was in university when I came home for summers too.

Sorry, I've been busy studying since I have exams in July. So my weekends are booked with that. Plus, been having more computer issues.

Should I request an MST for this board then? Since I'm going away July 1?

Thanks for reminding me! I'll upload them now. They'll be up tomorrow.

Like a temporary mod? Probably. I am taking an online class the next 4 weeks as well as working two jobs over the summer so I won't be around much either, at least till mid-Julyish.

Where are you going, btw?

yea, a temp mod. Though in all honesty I will be completely surprised if the board is still here when I get back. I can see us not fulfilling the 48 hours rule and closing.

Good that you're keeping busy while school is closed.

I'm going on a cruise to Greece. It leaves from Rome.

Oh wow, another cruise? Lucky! (I'm looking into another one myself for my 30th birthday next year). Is it on Royal Caribbean again?

Don't say that! Think positive. I'll definitely try to post in a couple of threads each day in my free time.

Seafood pics!

Lobster tacos

Baked clams (they had lemon in them as well and it was a little heavy, but they were still good)

My pineapple mojito. This was amazing. We asked for the recipe but the waitress didn't know it.

The view from our table. I feel like seafood restaurants aren't "real" seafood restaurants unless they're on or very close to the water.

Where are you thinking about going for your 30th?

Yea, we go on Royal. At this point we accumulated a nice amount of loyalty points. I told my mom it's my goal to go on every Royal ship. Who knows if it'll actually happen.

The restaurant / the view looks beautiful. Baked claims I agree about it not being a real seafood place unless it's near the water. I also question how fresh the seafood is if it's not near the water.

Which ship are you going on for this one?

I don't know yet A cruise is one option, but I'm also thinking of doing Vegas or flying to the Pacific Islands. If I do end up doing a cruise I want to do either the Western Caribbean or Mexican Riviera. I would love to do a Europe one but those are way too expensive for me while I'm still in school.

I'm pretty sure it's frozen all day or even overnight. What's worse is that I've had calamari from a regular restaurant that was pretty good, even though I knew it wasn't fresh!

Pacific Islands as in Hawaii? All the possible locations sound really nice.
There are 3 day Europe ones, if you really wanted to go but are on a budget

As long as you don't get sick, right? That's most important.

this was Oreo cake and it was yummy

a whole bunch of sweets we got to take home - marshmallows, Oreos, pretzels etc.

these are the table centerpieces I liked. The 2nd image is my table:

her gifts

next 2 are our appetizers

1st course

my dinner - chicken, sausage, peppers and mushrooms

one of the desserts - cannoli and sfogliatella. I didn't get a photo of the cookies or the Oreo cake cut up.

I didn't win Bingo

me in the garden in the front of the restaurant

My cousin's belly with her husband's hand on it. We played a string game where we had to guess how big we thought her belly is, and cut the string at the right length. I came very close, just a little too short. She's not big at all.
