What Clare Kramer Said About Emilie -Interview

When we did a video-taped site interview with Clare Kramer
(Glory on Buffy) at Starfury Fusion 5/2/2004, Blackpool
England, here's what she said (Further Down)

Previously, when we were in line for photo
autographs she said that 'Yes, she had met
Emilie and they were friends'. Plus 'she
didn't think Emilie had yet returned from
Edmonton'. (This was 4/29/04).

A day or so later, while waiting for Clare to
finish her photos with a long queue of attendees
we were talking to Nick Brown, her costume designer
friend from Buffy Season-5, He also knew Emilie.

Our followup question (Q9) during the interview was:

GIAG:
Here are a couple here for other people. In a prior discussion you mentioned Emilie de Ravin.

("Beastmaster", "Roswell", "Carrrie"(2002), "Brick", "Santa's Slay", etc.)

How did you first meet Emilie and how did you become friends?

CLARE:
I love Emilie. I met her through just auditioning. And she's managed by Darren (Darren Goldberg, Clare's longtime manager). And she's a great girl. Really sweet.

GIAG:
When did you first meet her?

CLARE:
I don't know if I can even remember. A while ago. A year or two.

Something has changed here also.
Emilie used to be Forum 57 and now she's 65.
Plus some of the topics seem to have vanished.

I've heard that Emilie and Clare are friends, but I have no idea who Clare is. I feel so out of the loop.

It's nice that they're friends. I'm not surprised they run into each other at auditions, they seem to fit the same "type."

I know Clare Kramer her role as Glory on Buffy. She was the season five big bad.

She probably better known for her role in Bring it On, though. "You are being a cheer-tator Torrance and a pain in my ass! (I love that line.)

:lol: I remember Clare on Bring It On. That's one of my favourite movies. And to play like Six Degrees, Clare played Glory on Buffy and Eliza Dushku played Faith on Buffy. :) Isn't that wild?

Glory, thanks for the info. It's cool that they know each other. I can definitely imagine them in a quirky movie together! :D

We were beyond delighted to have her tell
us that she & Emilie were friends. They
just belong together.

Both were the "Big Bads" of 2000-2001 and
vanished 1 day apart in May 2001. Only to
reappear briefly in 2002 on their respective series
as guests.

And now to have the same manager and to be friends.
Incredible.

Plus, Clare, who is the sweetest sweetie-pie around
in person, saying that Emile is a great girl and sweet,
should tell us what Emilie is like in person, as some have
indicated in the past.

Very cool! Both Emilie and Clare are great young actors and I am glad they are friends. Would be cool to see them in a movie together.:D

They need to bring out Bring It On 2 and have Emilie as the new cheerleader! :D

Hmmm... She can be bitchy too! I love it when she's bitchy because it gives her something totally different. I mean, she has the innocent tiny blonde look and by being a bitch... Well, just think Carrie.

I would love that. Clare, Emilie and Eliza in a movie, that would be perfect :D

oh now I know who Clare is. She's the one who always had that boy looking up her skirt.
