Roles you want Emilie to play...
 

I was thinking about all the characters I'd want to see Emilie play and what came to mind was the character Nikki from the book Porno. It's the sequal to the book/movie Trainspotting. There's been some talk about making Porno into a movie and if it is made, I want Emilie to be Nikki.

The character is a college student, she's English, and she works in a "spa". The girl gets involved with the character Sick Boy and he has a brilliant idea to make a Porno movie. Nikki wants to be in it. She's outgoing and a free thinker, but she does have some morals.

I think she would be great in this role. It would give Emilie a chance to show off more acting chops. She'd get to work with Ewan McGregor, who I love. Also the character is described to look just like Emilie.

so how about everyone else? is there a specific role or movie you want her to be in? do you want her to work with a specific person? post away...

I'd like her to do something dark and depressing. I don't really know why, it's just something I would like her to do.

To be honest I'd probably like her in any role. :D

I'd like her to work with Taryn Manning, Rose Byrne or Alyson Hannigan ;)

I don't really want Emilie to do any teenmovies, I would probably watch it though because hey it's Emilie ... :D

no to the teen market movies...very few actually involve brain cells but for the most part the genre is pretty damn awful...i've never finished 'trainspotting' but then that's not a movie you watch while trying to eat...

i'd love to see her in a romantic comedy, drama, action or suspense thriller...even a cheesy one...i'd like to see her expand beyond the 'cute girlfriend' and really have the chance to take on some complex roles...

she's grown so much in five years we've seen her and she continues to do so, so i know there's a big reserve of talent that given the right opportunity she can really blow us away....

you tried to watch TS when eating! wow. that toilet scene must of made you lose your appetite right away.

I def. want Emilie to stay away from teeny bopper movies as much as possible. just because i don't believe there's any real acting involved.

I'd love to see Emilie is something completely different. A darker role would definitely be great to see. Like not really a murderer but maybe something scary. If that makes sense.

Also, something funny. In a really good comedy would be great for her. I can't really see who she would be working with but anyone would do!

Action!! Emilie should try that. Even if it doesn't work (which I doubt it), she can still challenge herself with these things. I mean, wouldn't you love to see her to some butt-kicking stuff on the big screen? :lol:

no joke...i haven't been able to finish the movie since...it just turns my stomach...

that's too bad. it's a good movie. you should just fast foward the gross parts.

i heard 'lost' got picked up so they'll resume shooting in january so i wonder if she's gotten any more tv/movie spots...

i remember her official site had a video of the photo shoot she did where she was singing. I never dl'd it so i don't know if she sounded good. does anyone remember that video?

so Lost halted production for a while. it's weird how they start production again in Jan. isn't that kind of late?

I remember the video. It wasn't the best quality, though, and you couldn't really tell if she was good or not. Build Me Up, Buttercup was drowning her out. :)

I'd love to see her in a musical type movie. Especially one where she would bust a move. lol

Lost stops production for December, I think. They're still filming right now.

I think Emilie would have done a great job in A time for dancing. Some screentime with Shiri :) I really liked Save the last dance, I'd like to see Em playing in a similar movie.
