Dude. Emilie for Alice would be AMAZING. Tim always takes an interesting turn on the characters he does.

Johnny depp in Sleepy Hollow was supposed to be ugly, with a large nose. But instead of that, Tim left it as is, because it didn't seem like it fitted. And Emilie would be an AMAZING Alice.

I never saw the original version of Dark Shadows but I loved LOVED the remake television series. Angelique was my favorite character but for some reason I just don't see Emilie playing her, just because she in my opinion, would look too young to play that role. I can kind of see her playing Victoria though. I was so mad when they cancelled it after Victoria woke up and she knew who Barnabas was, it's a shame it never aired again.

I remember very very very little of the remake. I remember Joseph Gordon Lovitt (sp?) was in it. But the original series I'd watch everyday during dinner since my mom would tape it for my sis and I. It was so campy and enjoyable.

I can see her playing Angelique because Emilie does have the ability to play "evil" manipulative characters. I don't really factor in age. Lara Parker (the original Angelique) was young. Also, during the time period Angelique was introduced, she should be a young actress.
In the original version, Victoria Winters was such a goody goody bore and I don't want to see Emilie play those type of characters.

We def watched two different versions then, because Victoria was a strong heroine in the one I saw. Not goody goody, but I know back in the original they made their female characters even the evil ones, campy. I want to see Emilie play any type of character, I've seen her play the sassy bitch, I would love to see her play something different. I don't know, it would be interesting. I'll be happy with something mainstream. Though I don't think she's ever played a "goody goody" before.

See, I consider Claire to be a goody goody. I think that's why Claire is not my fav Emilie character.

I remember reading that the original actress who played Victoria Winters left the show because they made her too good and she wanted her character to have more depth - which they wouldn't do for her.

do you just not like nice people or characters at all? A goody goody, to me is someone is never swears, never cuses, is easily and overly shy when it comes to sex, basically a mary sue of perfection, and Claire to me is the complete oppisite, although she's nice. if i wanted to like a bitch, i'd enjoy kate more.

i never saw the original, i'm basing my knowledge off the character i saw in the remake.

I just get bored by nice characters because they very rarely do anything.

I think our definitions differ a little. To me, a goody goody is someone who everyone likes/is nice to everyone. There's never any drama surrounding them. They don't necessarily have to be a prude or a saint or a suck-up, but sometimes that is the case. Goody goodies are characters that'll always make the right choice.

i agree to a extent, i mean claire had a lot of drama surrounding her, and has made a lot of bad choices.

Claire seemed to make bad choices more in her teenage years. And the drama that surronds her isn't because she's looking for it, it just comes to her, which isn't really the same thing.

Not that I'm saying this is a bad thing but she didn't get pregnant in her teens, sadly falling for some ass. He had to be some what of an ass, in my opinion while they went out. But still, making bad choices in your teen years, still doesn't count as being a goody goody. Her personality on the show tends to be nice, but she is still standoffish, and isn't as trusting of others. Just doesn't set as a goody goody to me. I guess I see her more as a strong character with strong opinions about things, which she has shown numerous times with people on the island. Now, a certain character on Roswell, we both tend to loathe, that was more goody goody to me
