Emilie's Accent

Emilie excitedly, and in a thicker than usual Australian accent,
describes how impressed she was that the fans fought so hard to
save the Roswell scifi show.

Claire Previews

Later, on LOST, Claire was mentioned for continuity's sake, which
all her admirers have been asking for - even though she wasn't
in the credits or on screen this episode.

LOST Episodes Length Creep

We, and others recording off satellite receiver hard drives, have
had to compensate for a length creep for many weeks to get all the
episode. We now are set it up for 1:16, instead of 1:00.

But, essentially, all the semingly longer than normal preview of the
Dec 1 episode was about Claire. This episode ran 64 minutes. The series started out as 60 minutes, crept to 61, then to 62, and now
to 64 minutes.

Probably to cram in more commercials to pay for all the actors,
including, we hope, a full season for Emilie.

It'll be interesting to see how the ratings bump up after a 2 week
gap - especially with Claire's flashback episode being so vigorously
promoted. And what that does to motivate Emilie's contract.

Liked the related Hawaii fashion shoot news for US Weekly.

It was Dec last year when she did her BPM fashion shoot and was so
lovely. And the separate Santa's Slay interview that mentioned LOST.

Andrew at DGM had told us in July that Emilie was destined for some high profile interviews and magazines later in the year. Looks like
a bit of that is beginning to happen now.

YAY for a mention of Claire in the ep!! Better than nothing I guess. And I just saw the preview for her ep.. WOW. It looks so much better than I would have imagined it to be. Lots of emotion and eeeee for the CC moments.

Thanks for all the news guys. It totally sucks that I'll be missing her ep cuz I'm going away but I'll definitely come on and check out Val's caps and any clips I can find. I don't think I'll survive.

Val, thanks for the "Ladies of Lost" news. I can't wait to see it and hopefully try and buy the magazine somehow. I love seeing Emilie in magazine shoots. She's always so pretty.

You know. so far, and I am saying this without knowing if it will hold up in the future, but there really has not been anything presented to us by the writers yet for people to dislike EdR's character....it sorta looks like the beginning of lines being drawn in the sand over at the lost forum..nice and peaceful here..and it's pink too! lol

well dobs i have no objection to you're wanting to hang out here with us ...i haven't seen any "lines being drawn" but i'm not shippy with the show and so far claire's character really has nothing to dislike....so we'll see...

Oh , I know it's not open warfare or anything over there, but as I have seen on a board with lots of varying opinions concerning a show, it can lead to pointless arguing and people having to prove that there point of view is right...when you get a board dedicated to just a single object, then it's more discussion then heated arguing...
Anyways, I'm really hoping what we have seen so far of Claire is somewhat reflected in her backstory, that of someone who, although in a certain situation, has not let bad events drag her down and her outlook on life...Lost needs some light on it's show as well...

I know about people having various opinions about various things. A show like Lost will definitely have different people having different opinions about things. However, I have not seen a reason for people just to dislike Emilie or Claire. I just consider her lucky to be working with Dominic.

I can't wait for that US weekly issue to come out. I always love when Emilie takes new pics. They better have a full page and not half a page on her!
