That whole episode had such great scenes.

I loved when Kyle was mad at the other aliens and Tess was ready to move out of the house because she thought he wanted her gone. "You're my favorite martian"

I really hated that the writers went with the cop-out and made her evil. So stupid. Her and Kyle had such potential.

One of my fav Rebounder scenes of all time was the remote control!! You know the one... Kyle on the couch, Tess with the remote "Free porn"... Totally funny and so adorable.

Those two were perfect together... I guess we can dream. Do you know any good Rebounder fics? I feel like some Rebounder dream time.

My favorite scene was when she discovered Kyle's Buddhist books in between his porn mags. And he begged her not to tell anyone. I hope I'm remembering that scene right.

Killing Alex off was such a stupid move, but it was only because he had to chose between Roswell and Orange County, coz the Roswell Producers wouldn't let him do both.

Almost right... She's asks him how Buddha would feel about being squashed between Busty Babes and Biker Babes, or some such porno names as that. But I don't recall him begging her not to tell anyone.

He may have, but I don't recall that.

But yea, that was such a good scene... I love it. That's the scene where she's in his football jersey, on his bed... One of my favs.

Tess looked marvelous lying there with his football jersey on, if Kyle wasn't so embarrassed about the magazine, I'm sure he would have jumped her bones.

I know... You could see it in his eyes that he wanted her, and he wanted her right at then and there!!

And I'm positive she knew it!

Heh. Looks like most of us were beginning to lose hope when Alex was killed off and then when Tess was the killer was when it went down the drain.

Just thinking about it gets me mad.

That's for sure... As I was just saying on the Candy thread on Maj's board, the whole Tess evil thing was wayy too convient.

And stupid. Why bother going to the trouble, when they could just have Tess and Kyle be happy instead! Come on!

And if they really wanted to make Tess evil, they should have at least thought out a believable storyline and smoothed out the details.

I definitely agree. If they wanted Tess to be evil in the first place, they should have just kept her as she was in the beginning, mysterious, spooky and all that. But no, they made her "human". IT doesn't make any sense.

I know... It so makes no sense. It's like they bought her in, with this storyline where we were supposed to NOT be sure about her. Then they make her nice, so we like her.

And that all goes well, until Colin Hanks decides he'd rather do Orange County than stay in Roswell (Which is fair enough... Who's going to pick a tv show over a movie that could make your whole career?), so they just decide let her become evil like we'd all thought she might be in the first place.

1. It's not fair to the fans who like her.
2. It's not fair to the show.
3. It's not fair to cast and crew.
4 And finally it's not fair at all to Emilie.

They jerked her around, kept doing things with her character, just screwed things up in general. But you know what, if they hadn't I don't think I'd like Emilie half as much.

Because through it all, she kept going, she didn't quit. She stayed with it, and played Tess the best anyone could under those circumstances. I don't think anyone could have played that role half as good as she did.

And that's why I respect her so much as an actress. Coz she stuck with something that had gone totally against her, and made it work.

Well you know, they could have Alex just move away from Roswell. Though, him being murdered was an interesting thing, I just wished that it was another alien and not Tess who did it. She showed way too much emotions for someone who killed the boy.

Having Alex killed off, I feel, was a mistake. When he did come back for cameo apperances, they had to make him a GHOST! I mean, hello?? Anybody in there?

(Although I did cry when he and Isabel had their final goodbye, just after Isabel thought Jesse was going to propose.)

And you're right, to have done it properly they should have had one of the skins kill him off, or something.

But then they would have still had to have come up with an excuse for why Colin missed out on some of the earlier eps.

I dunno, the excuse they gave was just so incredibly stupid. It should never have happened. They should have gotten Fanfic writers in to do the job! We seem to know the characters better, collaborated, we would have been able to do the show justice!

Altho, I have to admitt, there's no way I would have though of the "IMAA" episode, and I really like that ep!

And despite Alex dying, and Tess being "evil" there were quite a few S2 eps I liked.
