High Noon Discussion Thread: Because Emilie is fierce with a gun!

I thought it would be easier if someone made a thread so we can all discuss the movie! Without talking in the news thread and etc.

I'm excited, !

I just got done watching the film, and wow! It wasn't as cheesy as I expected it to be. Very well done, and the acting was perfect. Emilie did such an amazing job, and her american accent has gotten way better than before.

Overall, I was impressed! AND THAT SEX SCENE?! Wow, it was very...very hot. LOL.

I watched it , and it was surprisingly not as cheesy for me as well. The plot was ok... there was a bunch of stuff that was stretching the believability in any movie.

The boyfriend just happened to be a millionaire.
His friends just happened to be in the shop at the end.
Two aggressive cops after her... one is a Teddy Bear killer the other a snake killer.
The Ex- as hostage???

The sex scene was... ok, I could not get over the part where he lifter her like a 1 year old infant. I couldn't stop laughing. Yes I get that she is little, super itty bitty to Ivan but really??

Honest to god, I actually liked it alot. In a totally non-cheesetastic way.

Par_avion is right, Emilie did an amazing job. The acting was good all around. I wasn't sure how Emilie would handle Phoebe's cop toughness (and the stairway attack) but she gave it the weight the role needed.

Emilie and Ivan had great chemistry. The first date, the supermarket scene, the engagement, everything really. Phoebe and Duncan were really cute and adorable together. And, yes, there was the sex scene. Heh heh heh.

I also covet her fierce boots of justice. Those were fab. And stylish way to get her closer to Ivan Sergei's height.

There seriously needs to be a spin-off with Lt. Phoebe McNamara and (I really didn't catch her name at all) the Asian cop. They were awesome together too.

One thing I was really disappointed by... in the book the ex-husband, Roy, really did explode. Book description: Into a "pink mist". I was kinda hoping that would translate over to the movie. Heh.

LOL. I wasn't expecting the sex scene to be as long, I guess. I just thought it would've ended at the stairs and then cut to them in bed. But, LOL AT THE INFANT THING. My thoughts exactly. Emilie is such a lady-hobbit, but that was a little weird!

I seriously expected it to be really....really cheesy. I'm glad it wasn't, but of course it's going to strech the believability...it's Lifetime! LOL. XD

Lucy, I LOVED HER BOOTS. She was so stylish! I didn't like her hair styles at some points, but I delt with it. LOL. Emilie really did handle being a badass VERY well! FIERCE AS HELL!

And Smuf, I hope it makes it's way soon enough for you!

I loved the scene in the grocery store when the woman was staring at Phoebe's bruises and Duncan turned around and said "I didn't do it!" Emilie's giggle is so adorable. <3

Yes! While Ivan/Em had great chemistry, these two played off each other so well. Great friendship chemistry.

Yes. It was so, odd and distracting. I was like... wahhh?? Who though that was sexy?

At first I thought it was the lady who plays Claire's mom on Lost.

Emilie was Great. She totally held the movie together and proved she could lead a movie.

I'm just so happy she got a a lead role

I agree with everyone that said it wasn't as cheesy as I thought it'd be.
I also agree that her boots were freakin' fab. I loved every single costume she was put in.
I also agree that the sex scene was longer than I thought it'd be. And I define this as her first real love scene, so it's fun that she filmed that. We got to see her get a little naughty.

Obviously there was no actual shot of them having sex, but there was some skin showed. That's for sure.
