I hope they show Emilie's audition and I hope she did commentary. Too bad it's full screen. I hope they decide to release it in widescreen also.

Wow, there are more extras than what I was expecting for a season 1 release. Definitely not like the rest of Fox shows I have on DVD.

It's a box DVD set of the first season. You can't buy individual discs.

They'll release the box sets first, the hardcore fans will pay a packet for them, then they'll release individual discs for those who are vaguely interested, or simply find the price of a box set too high. Of course, I've been wrong once before. |

Although, yeah, just our luck it'll be Tess auditions without Emilie. I wouldn't be surprised by JK and Co. [ 10-21-2003: Message edited Lucy Pearl ] |

I think they are trying to push Roswell by adding the extras for the incentive. I mean, we all know the show tanked after three seasons. It wasn't cancelled and then critics went, "This well written show was cancelled!" It went without a bang. I mean, "My So-Called Life" was cancelled but it was highly talked about. Roswell was not.

Roswell DVDs - First look at Tess' Audition on Disk 6
FROM: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emilie-de-ravin/ Different people will look at many things in this attractive set for Season-1 DVDs we received 2/17/04. Especially the cards about the music changes and promising the Season-2 this summer and Season-3 later. With the Fox Roswell DVD home: http://www.foxhome.com/roswell/home.html It appears Roswell is back in the news. We saw a brief Roswell DVD ad on E! news last evening. Naturally the first thing we looked at was Disk-6 and Emilie's two taped Tess auditions. She does one with Jason in the lab, looking a bit nervous to us at the start, but poised and comfortable as she got into it. Acting downright ****ty to Max. The agressive Tess of Season-1 that somehow was rewritten as the passive Tess of Season-2. Cute were her lines to the offscreen Liz, who was voiced by a male, not Shiri. Her "Jump my Bones" first scene with Katherine was used for the second audition. Emilie was poised and comfortable by now. Her dialog and sugar use were almost identical to the broadcast scene, though this was indoors on the same set(?) as her lab audition, except at a table. Our first look is very positive. Portends well for Season-2 & 3. -Gloriana __________________
