I checked a few websites that offer release dates for German movie theatres and they don't have Santa's Slay listed. So if it gets released at all, it might not make it to all cities/towns.
If anyone happens to see a trailer for it at the movie theatre, please make sure to tell us which movie you were seeing. Likely candiates: Bad Santa (Billy Bob Thornton), Surviving Christmas (Ben Affleck) or Verrückte Weihnachten (Tim Allen). And yeah, we need funny reaction shots of the other characters - not just Goldberg. |

I went over to Bill Goldberg's official site. They had an interview with him and this is what he said about SS.

Maybe the re-shot scenes will have Goldberg in a bunny costume and it will come out around Easter?

If the Germany premiere date sticks at least we know it's coming out theatrically somewhere in the world. |

It's taking WAY too long. They should have had it out in the markets already. Christmas movies are OUT already or coming out in the next week or so. It's ridiculous.
And doing reshoots now? It's going to hard to market this thing after Christmas. |

I figured as much. I'd say if it's not locked down for theatres by February, the latest I can see them put it out, it's straight to video.
On some level, I wouldn't be too unhappy about that. Heh. |

maybe they'll release it next Xmas?
even if they only had a few scenes to reshoot & that's why they did it in Nov, they'd never finish editing in time for Dec & get it out to all the theaters & do decent promotion. i wonder if Emilie would show up to the premiere in Germany. __________________

From what I've read, the movie dates itself by having it set this Christmas. So they can't release it next year.
Unless that's the reason for the reshoots. Maybe they'll change the dates or make it time neutral. At this point, I just want pictures and/or the trailer. Last edited by Lucy Pearl; 11-10-2004 at 09:35 PM |

i'm beginning to think we're never going to see an Emilie movie on the big screen even a teaser trailer would make me happy

The trailer should have been out. Even if they wanted to reshoot and re-edit in time for December, they should have had a trailer out by now. I think it's going to be straight to video.
