It depends. Sometimes the actor isn't doing that. I remember one handler told me that there will be no hugging when I met Stephen Amell. He hugged me anyways. |

It goes by so quick. IDK if it's different at non Comic Con events, but at NYCC there is only a split second to say HI and then it's on to the next person.

The stories I heard about press the last few years at NYCC have been so messy and discriminatory. Friends of mine got press - and I heard about a girl who works for NBC too - not being allowed into press rooms because their companies didn't apply for certain tickets, meanwhile MTV was allowed in.

Getting tickets for NYCC has become such a hassle. Only 2 years ago you could wait a few months to buy tickets. Now, more people go to NYCC than SDCC, and if you don't get tickets as soon as they go on sale, you're screwed.
OUAT did have panels at NYCC (not sure about autograph sessions or photo ops). Both years JMo was the only actor who went. I think despite me not watching the show anymore, if another actor besides her decided to do the panel I'd try to get in. __________________

IDK about it being harder. The way people have talked about it, I don't think NYCC has a very um...picky criteria for determining who gets press. Some people put down being a fan forum mod and end up getting press. They might like that you're "foreign" even more.
