Apparently it's ambiguous where Hook is living himself right now (though yea, I think it's with you-know-who

), but that would have been amazing if he still did live on the JR and immediately thought "Roommates!" and they'd stay up drinking and joking and trashing Rumple and discussing books and adventures. But whatever, I'll take what we can get from them

now THAT is a show I would watch. Add Jefferson and Ruby and have the show be about those four raising Belle's baby on the ship together. It can kinda sorta be a Three Men and a Baby thing.

How were the Hook/Belle scenes last night?

I saw one gif set where they were talking about Hook's attempt to kill her back in FTL and Belle telling him he's changed. Seems to be Belle's favorite line with everyone. I can't stand how hard the writers have been trying to push Hook as a hero for the past 4 seasons.

I've seen a few people saying they ship Hook/Belle now because of last night. I am confident in my assumption that they had more chemistry than any other pairing last night.

That seems to be the consensus even among CS shippers. They all thought it was the only good scene in the entire episode, and were upset it was only like a minute long.

I certainly hope we'll get more between them this season though (not that I'll watch regardless).

I broke my promise to never watch a frame of this show to watch the Belle/Hook scene from the last episode.

Damn, Emilie and Colin have had some of the best natural chemistry on this show. It's a shame it will always be underutilized on this show.

I'm resigned to the fact Belle/Hook will never happen because of Emma/Hook and ugh. But, eff it, I still ship Belle/Hook. I laugh that this show (as far as I can tell on that one scene) has inadvertently made the perfect set-up for a sweet Belle/Hook romantic storyline that will never happen.

I wish there was a tumblr tag that was actually about a romantic Captain Beauty. I like their friendship too but because the catch-all tag can be overwhelmingly adamant on just the friendship part.

That is the story of OUAT life. They write scenes for pairings they don't want to put together romantically that end up being an awesome duo, better than the duos the writers DO want together, and then they don't develop the superior pairing.

Guess it depends on the duo, and what the writers are saying. Chemistry is the individual viewer's perception. Not all chemistry has to be romantic, does it?

Of course not, but it's the fact that the writers don't explore all different pairings- platonic, familial, AND romantic - and instead insist on forcing some characters to stay glued to the hip of their LI, or revolve their lives around only them, whether or not the relationship actually even works (Belle is a prime example).

ETA: Ok, I'm not sure if this counts as a spoiler since the episode is currently airing but according to Tumblr, Hook IS living on the JR too!

AND Belle decorated it!

ETA2: Nevermind, apparently he DID move in with...yea. But briefly, he and Belle lived together!

please, please, please tell me funny scenes of them being roommates were actually shot. Like them sitting on a couch watching the Bachelor, or something.
