The helicopter/freighter rescue wasn't exactly a smooth ride either.

I hope the O6 return by plane crash. Would make one hell of a cliffhanger.

The last picture has such a "Man, I'm glad I don't have to wear this!" vibe.

I only want Sun, Aaron, Jack, Hurley and Locke to return safely. So I wouldn't mind a little accident or a logistical problem that forces Kate, Ben, Desmond, Walt and Sayid to stay on the mainland.

I don't think the writers have thought much about Walt and his future. So far, the island has only wanted Michael back in the picture.

I know I want Walt to be happy. So going back to the place where his father did terrible things and then died... I don't know. Maybe he's better off living with his grandma. He hasn't sent any polar bears after her yet, so I assume they get along fine.

The only problem I have with the Walt story is that I don't understand why the Others would allow a kid who has powers to leave. And what exactly are his abilities? And what happened to him when he was with the Others (and all the other people they kidnapped?) Why are they so happy to be a part of the Others now?

I was so disappointed when they explained the kidnappings of the "special" kids Aaron and Walt with the Others' fertility issues. What a letdown.

did you think they were trying to form some kind of special people army? Because I really thought they were brainwashing the kids to do their bidding.

I always assumed the Others were special themselves and knew exactly what was going on with Aaron and Walt. It was strongly implied that Ethan had super-strength. So I guess I was expecting "Heroes on an Island".

When we learnt that the Others simply wanted to adopt Claire's kid/use him for fertility research and were actually scared of Walt, I was like, "Don't they even know he's DOOOOOMED?!!!! You do not want to adopt Aaron Littleton if sweet, little Walt scares you, you morons."

I always thought The Others were psycho - and I'm not entirely wrong about that.

They are pretty psycho.

You can tell that the writers changed their minds along the way.

Ethan supposedly kidnapped two and a half people on his own. Scaaaary. Then, they're suddenly hillbillies... hillbillies with fake beards! But no! They're really organized with a coldhearted and crazy leader. And finally, they live in a cute little village and kidnap children and tailies and torture everyone else for weird cult-like reasons. Huh?
