I'm moving into the dorms on the 25th. :) But I'm such a mess right now trying to figure out what to pack.

I commute to my college, but the dorms in my school are mini-apartments. They're really nice.
My friends who dorm had a list of things to bring like

• computer
• TV
• kitchen appliances
• anything that you may want to sleep with (like a teddy bear)

and I can't think of anything else at the moment.

i don't miss moving into the dorms at all...nothing but fond memories of being cranky, pissy and wondrously irritable all day trying to haul my crap up and down the stairs while idiots stand about in the way and gab without realizing folks are trying to manuver about the hallways without dropping or scratching their stuff...nothing like moving that gets folks to the nitty gritty of pissiness...

i'm saving to buy a house...i slowly but surely am growing up and becoming a contributing member of society as an adult...now that's some scary *****...

that's my biggest pet peeve. I HATE when people don't move out of the way and just stand around without a care in the world.

I'm couting down the hours. I bet this day is gonna go by so slow.

You know, one thing about moving to dorms, I liked moving TO the dorm but not out of it. For some reason, I always have more junk moving out of it then moving in! Plus, I love redecorating. ;)

Excited about tonight...though won't be able to watch live. :(

My roommate is from Hawaii and I have no idea if she's bringing her tv, vcr, microwave ect... So I have to wait until I see her on Saturday. So far, I'm almost done packing. I just have to wash some more clothes. :)

I wonder if your roomate is going to watch Lost since she's from Hawaii. You can watch it together.

that's a standard of moving..you always leave with more stuff than you came in with...always...

i'm excited about decorating my desk at work...i've got a boat load of pics i can't wait to put up...

well i'm glad you get it girl 'cause i wasn't sure....can't wait for next week...

:lol: I have digital TV so I tend to get alot of channels twice. CTV can take over one ABC network but not all of them. ;)

Just letting you guys know... I won't be around for two weeks maybe less. I'm moving into the dorms tomorrow. :wave: See you guys.
