Interesting...it's hard when the book/series has a horrible main character. That's like Grey's Anatomy to me...I really hate Meredith Grey and I couldn't care less for "McDreamy"....I think "McSteamy" is alot better....but unfortunately, the series IS called GREY'S Anatomy....

The books are pretty good, but I really want to smack Bella (the main character). So far I'm in the beginning of the 3rd book and Rosalie is a minor character.

I really hope Emilie grows her hair if she plays Rosalie. Because the short hair makes her cute while the long hair makes her gorgeous and Rosalie is supposed to be out of this world gorgeous.
yeah i miss Emilie's long hair. I've never heard of the books. I wanna read them now though

Rosalie is a little bit like Tess
A character who has more potential to them than what they get? Or a character who's been through a lot?

I'm trying to think of a case...Lost's Jack and Kate bug me a bit. Just like Liz off Roswell (not trying to cause a big argument between all the jack/kate/liz fans but that is the case with some shows.)

both

Bella (the main character) didn't annoy me so much in the first book. But then I read the second book and she became more and more like Liz from Roswell And then I read she doesn't get any better in the third book so it's like "shoot me now"

All I know about Twilight I know from running into part of the fandom online. (No offense to the rest of the fans!)

Please don't throw things at me but the 'Oh, it's just like Roswell, dreamysigh!' praise and the 'Oh no, XY is playing YX! My life is ruined. RUINED!' drama makes me NOT want to check out the books.

Also? Dear Twilight IMDB fans, I think it's great you are so invested in books rather than cheesy movies - but I'm tired of finding an 'Actor X as Character Y???????' thread on every single actor's page under the sun. The only literary characters I'm on a first name recognition basis with are Heathcliff (Heathcliff), Emma (Woodhouse) and maybe Alice (in Wonderland). How about you keep the casting discussion on the actual Twilight page instead of spamming all of the IMDB's 3423402802 pages where the people who actually care are less likely to find it? Crazy idea, I know.

Having read up on the Rosalie character on Wikipedia, however, I really like the character based on the description. It could be a good and memorable role if the movie allows for the supporting characters to get developed. And I would certainly get a kick out of Emilie playing another Tess-like character.

I try not to go to any threads dealing with Twilight because I'm afraid to get involved with craziness after how terrible Roswell's fandom turned out to be.

But Edward/Bella certainly have the Max/Liz "I can't live without you. Nothing else matters unless I'm with you. We need to be together for eternity and screw everyone else" gaggyness down pat.

*crosses fingers and hopes for the best*

She sounds like she needs shooting, not you

I would get a kick out of Emile being in another film, let alone a Tess-like character. . Although I do agree about another Tess-like character being great.

yea, I like your idea better.
She almost got runned over in the first book but then Edward saved her (darn it) What's with the main character guys thinking with their "little friend" and saving the girls they like to look at?

Hmm...well, it doesn't sound like I would enjoy those books. I'm not into the whole Max/Liz thing again!

mere & Jazz - you're smart young ladies.

If Emilie is casted, then just watch the movie for her and ignore Bella.

As for the whole Max/Liz/Universe is going to end without you thing, my stomach's churning at the very thought...

Huh...if we have to ignore Bella, I think it would be best to get the DVd and FF-ed through her parts?
