Not necessarily, I think it would have to be GOOD episodes for it to do well. New episodes might get people watching the first one it airs but if it's stupid, they won't continue watching.

man abc has really screwed this show over...it didn't work well last season when they showed six episodes and then went on break and i doubt it will benefit anyone to show the eight completed episodes in january because after that we have to wait until who knows how long....fox was smart in shelving 24 until jan 2009....hope this writers strike ends before more shows get messed up...

Do the writers write for more than one show? I never knew that

that is also true.

it's definitely a gamble. There's always die hard fans that will know it's coming back, but a casual fan may not return - even if there are hundreds of commercials to remind them the show still exists.

I think people get restless quickly and don't care to wait.

That's true, they do, if I wasn't such a Lost fan, i wouldn't have waited either. So for 24, I wouldn't wait that long either, unless I was a die hard fan.

They can't do that with shows that are going in their second season, because although the first season was great, people won't wait so long for a second season, no matter how much they like it.

Lost was improving at the end of its last season. I wonder if that will be enough for people to remember it.

Rosalie Hale - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Scroll to the bottom for casting just announced today.

I love Twilight. It would be freakin cool if she was in the movie, but as Rosalie? I always pictured Rosalie to be a model type, you know? Like someone really tall. Who would you want to play Emmett?

but yea, Emilie as a vampire

I always pictured her angelic and just amazingly gracful witth bite, no pun intended Her height is a little off but it's a movie, they do wonders with that. I don't even know if it's true, since it was just put up there, but I'm kind of hoping it is, and Emmet? I'm not good with American chisled actors. Maybe Jared Padalecki, or Tom Welling? They look like they would try to take on a bear. Bad bad I know, but I ran with what I could think of first.

I wouldn't trust wikipedia. Users can edit it freely. That info on her casting has already been removed. If it was announced somewhere that she is gonna play Rosalie, wouldn't we have head it from a much more reliable source like Variety? I don't think this is true....

I agree which is why I was saying, 'If' and 'hope' for it to be. It's a nice thought, and a good part, which was why I would have been excited. It's still pretty cool that the writer herself would like to see Emilie for that part. We have yet to see Variety post about Onimusha either, so we can't say that's true either.

The role of Rosalie does sound like Emilie could play her well except for the height. On wikipedia it says that in the book it seems she's really tall but Emilie's only 5"2. Then again they could always have shots for her to make her appear taller. Or something...idk

Yeah, I know. I really hope Onimusha turns out to be true. I have no idea what Twilight is about. I know it's about vampires but other than that...

If Emilie is in Twilight they'll prob have her stand on a box. And considering Emmet is really tall and strong, she'd need to stand on a box in order not to be dwarfed next to whoever they choose for tha part.

But yes, Emilie is certainly beautiful enough to play Rosalie and I believe the character's past is something Emilie will be attracted to. She likes playing characters that had a difficult life.

And as far as casting goes some girl named Kristen is playing Bella. Her name was accidentally released before it was supposed to on the offical website. It was funny because the guy who gave the info too soon was like "Oh I was just testing the system with a fake announcement" Pfft it was so obvious that's who would be cast. So maybe they're just "testing the system" again with Emilie?

Yeah, I don't trust this Wikipedia source. If she was announced, where is the press release? At least the Onimusha rumor came from a movie site (although not as reliable as Variety) devoted to breaking news.

I hope either rumor turns out to be true though. And Emilie as a vampire? That would be awesome.
