mouse they had communion during the ceremony too...omg the preist was funny at the rehearsal on friday because he was so pissy with everyone and saying the bridesmaids were walking too slow and the groomsman weren't paying attention...

after the ceremony when we were taking photos one of the church attendants turned the lights off 'cause she 'had somewhere to be'

it was sad that we were in church and that lady was being soo damn ugly....

it scares me when priests are bossy. I'm always like "you're a priest, you're not supposed to be mean"

Catholic wedding ceremonies are not the entire mass plus wedding part. They tend to be alot more shorter. Communion is given though.

I've only met one mean priest. The others have been pretty accommodating. And I've been to alot of weddings...including the ones I had to film!

there are some couples who do choose to have an entire mass, though.

my head priest is a scary man. Whenever I shake his hand he is so rough and he never smiles.

Ouch!! I did that when I was trying to change the sofabed inti a Sofa, only it fell and trapped my finger. Nobody even knew about it

I haven't been to church since Oct and I feel horrible about that. Every time I go on vacation my church going gets ruined.

the one i was at was the full mass and the wedding...i'm soo glad we got to sit down because that ceremony was about two hours long!....

eek standing 2 hours in heels woud be hell. I think people used to be unable to sit during mass.

I never been to a ceremony that wanted the entire mass. Thank goodness.

My head priest is a nice man....the one before him was abit scary.

idk, he just pulled them out and gave them to me

. The last time I went to church was when it was my Granddad's funeral, there was a time after that but that's because of a Youth Group they hold there.

i didn't know they were going to be doing a communion during the ceremony and myself and two other bridesmaids aren't catholic so we didn't know how to tell the preist we weren't going to be taking part in it....he just laughted and told us he'd give us a blessing and that we didn't have to take anything...

Hmm...I've known a few bridesmaids that weren't Catholic in Catholic weddings and they just don't take the communion but yes, the priest gives them a blessing. Alot of them understand...you got friends of all different religions.

mouse i wasn't afraid of the preist yelling i just didn't know what to do and didn't want to look like an idiot because we didn't know they would be taking the communion during the ceremony...during the rehearsal the preist was very crotchety and rude and didn't provide a lot of details of what would be going on...
