imdb added Beard's Creek on Emilie's page. Anyone know what that's about?

Emilie de Ravin

Question: What’s the psychological thriller about?

Donahue: It’s about three kids in Louisiana in the 1950s, who find a dead body. It’s kind of Stand By Me meets Night of the Hunter. It’s really, really well-written. I did not write it.

Question: Do you have a title?

Donahue: Yeah, it’s called Beard’s Creek.

Question: And a cast?

Donahue: It’s Stuart Townsend, who played Lestat in Interview with a Vampire and also, Emilie De Ravin, who’s one of the stars of Lost.

Question: Oh, that’s interesting and I presume it’s an indie.

Donahue: Oh, yeah. It’s like – you know, under – well, I shouldn’t say how much, but, under Hollywood budget.

Question: Are you going to try and get it ready in time for the festivals?

Donahue: Well, we’re still getting the finance – we lost the financing because of the financial crisis. And we’ll try to cobble it back together.

I assume she would play the older sister to one of the boys/Stuart Townsend's girlfriend.

I'm still in love with this project. I'm a sucker for anything 'film noir'. I hope they can get their financing, and I hope they can get it at a time when Emilie's not tied to something else.

Originally, filming was planned to take place in Louisiana where they shot The Chameleon. Source

I posted about Beard's Creek a long time ago because of the Dark Horizons interview.

Here was the summary. I'm with Mone and think she would very likely play the older sister.

When three children find a murdered woman in the dreamy perils of the swamps of 1950’s Georgia, the daydreams of their latch key lives fracture horrifyingly into the reality of an actual killer, their older sister's new beau.

LOL, even if she were to play the victim, it would most likely still be a speaking role.

My google research suggests that Emilie is the only actor listed on IMDB for this movie. (No Stuart Townsend.) The rest are producers, writer and crew. So either there's something new going on - or someone submitted her name months ago after Tom Donahue gave the interview... and it took IMDB very, very long to add it.
