just mentioning Moulin Rouge makes me squee. Ewan, my love. It's not only one of my top musicals, but my top movie of all time. Nothing will ever beat MR for me and I'm just waiting for Ewan & Nicole to work together again. I can't wait for Baz's movie Austrailia to come out. I wish Emilie would get the chance to work with him.
Joe's character (Max) and Jim's character (Jude) are my favs. I actually wanted them to hook up instead of Jude and Max's sister (Lucy)

OMG every time I hear that someone actually *knows* what the hell Velvet Goldmine is I get so exicted. McGregor, Bale AND Meyers...can't get any better than that threesome.

I wanted our local theatre to do something like that, from MR because it was just, amazing. I wanted to kick myself for not watching it when it came out. I do love me some Ewan, I always see Renne Zellweger and him doing movies together, maybe he should hit Nicole up lol.

Of course I know it! I am a huge fan of Bale, since Empire of the Sun, so anything he was in I had to watch, plus the soundtrack to VG is FABULOUS.

MR has beautiful coloring and sets and costumes. I want to go to a midnight showing or something just to see how spectacular it looks on the big screen again.
Yea, he did 2 movies with Renee - Down With Love and Miss Potter. I liked Miss Potter better.

you should come to the Ewan board if you have time. I'd love to have you there. We have a VG and MR thread.

I listen to the VG sountrack like everday. I love Ladytron and Ballad of Maxwell Demon. Which songs are your fav? Oh, and the scene where Ewan performs TV Eye.....Best. Scene. In. Movie. History!

I never saw Mrs Potter, I wanted to but work had me so crazy busy, I never got around to it.

I might do that! I sometimes go to new boards but I always seem unwelcomes when I do because I havn't posted before, so I tend to stick to the boards I've always been in

But, I'll take a look tomorrow, bedtime is now.

I love all the songs from The Venus and Furs but I love them, and Placebo, but I love love LOVE Ballad of Maxwell Demon! Anything he performs or sings I think is the best scene ever

is the Venus in Furs a real group or a group made up for the film?
I may have to use a VG icon soon Ballad of Maxwell Demon Rock Hand Jive - I love that.

what about Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth. I love that.

Oh, I forgot to mention Baby's On Fire. That's a catchy song.

I wanted to see Miss Potter too actually!

I did enjoy Down With Love though, that was a pretty cute movie with Ewan and Renee. I do like Renee.

I certainly hope she does. It's been way too long. I want her to attend the Emmys. Even if she isn't on Lost this coming season, she was in the nominated season.

We are in a serious Emilie drought.

Maggie went to an award show when she was already killed off, so Emilie needs to get her ass to the Emmys on Sunday. I want new pics of her in a pretty pretty dress, new icons of her, SOMETHING to talk about.

It's total B.S. how she's disappeared.
