| Thanks for the new thread. Could you add Emilie's twitter account link to the first post, for those who might not know it. They can just click it. As I said in the last thread, it would be cool if she can do both shows because she hasn't been doing anything for a while. As for Ashley Green playing the daughter, and possibly a big role, is just no. | Emilie's playing Anthony's daughter, Olin is his brother, it seems if it happens..will have a daughter played by Ashley Greene, so Emilie and Ashley would be cousins. I'm still not sure about all this. I'm very happy she's working, and even more so that she's happy, but this show's premise sounds like something that I don't see lasting. We'll see! | |||

| Hmm I'm not sure about Ashley. Nothing against her, I've only ever seen her in that 1st Twilight movie, but I'd rather the Twilight fanbase not be brought over to the show since they hate Emilie for being in a movie with Rob.  | |||

| The new title makes me laugh. I said it before and I'll say it again, after her extended break last year, it is so so nice to have Emilie in this situation. So Ashley Greene might be the niece character. Hmm, I can't really judge her acting, I've only ever seen her five minutes in each of the Twilight movies. If Ashley and Anthony LaPaglia were that sought over... I suppose if Americana nabs her for the role, the chance of Americana getting picked up will go way up. | |||

| I guess we will hear more news as it gets close to filming. However, prefer someone other than Ashley. Either way, it's nice that Emilie will potentially be doing 2 shows. | Fan Forum's Finest | Sometimes shows have plots where I don't know how they could last longer than one season or plots that sound stupid, yet they stay on the air. OR they have iffy plots but end up being fantastic shows. I trust Emilie to pick something innovative and good. | I would even go as far as saying that there is no plot at all in the information released so far. Lost pretty much had me forever and ever at "plane crashes on creepy island". They had me waaaay before even bringing in polar bears, time travel and such. Here's a positive take on what Americana could be like... Quote:

| Giancarlo Esposito who plays Sydney Glass/Man in the Mirror, has been cast in J.J. Abrams new pilot ‘Revolution’. It's on NBC though. I'm just so relieved that Americana is on ABC. If it was on NBC for exmaple, they wouldn't be so willing to let her guest star on a rival network. | |||
