I really liked how Claire set up the memorial service.
I was surprised by Locke's situation. I had convinced myself that he was a Vietnam veteran. It's interesting how he was paralyzed. I wonder if the island somehow healed him... I felt bad for Charlie. He's the type who just wants to be loved & Shannon treated him like dirt. anyone notice Claire & Hurley were sleeping near each other? __________________

Now this is much more like it. Much more Emilie this time and it was great. The last Locke flashback was the best though. Terry O'Quinn killed that scene. And was it just me or was Daniel Dae Kim barely in this episode? There was a flash of Claire in the scenes for next week. Looks like she was being carried. |

I nearly jumped out of my chair when I saw her! Okay, well I did jump out of it. I am so happy to see her again, I missed her after Roswell left and she's using her real accent! Yay!

I'm so happy that Claire got more to do this ep. and it was such a nice thing she did too.
I think the Jin scene was cut out. There's a pic of him helping Charlie & Hurley fish. There must have not been enough time to include it. I really hope Hurley & Claire develope a close friendship. As for Sawyer & Claire...I never really thought of them. I still want to see interaction between Claire & Boone before I decide who I like her with. Claire finally changed clothes. I think she's back in her black tank top next week, though. I hope from the scene they showed of her next week, that means she has a lot to do again. I really loved this ep. It's my fav one that aired. I love Locke and Terry is amazing. I feel so bad that he had to call Helen for some company. __________________

Musings about Claire's Personality and Possible Secrets
Musings about Claire's Personality and Possible Secrets
Putting tvtome.com 's "White Rabbit" LOST episode (10/20/04) http://snipurl.com/9oxr spoiler together with the preview glimpse of Claire being carried by several guys, one could predict Claire moves even more center stage in the next episode. It was great the way in this last "Walkabout" episode that Claire is starting to be fleshed out as more than the brave, but not terribly complex young woman, into someone who cares about others. And, with a bit of prodding, decides to lead the memorial service herself. Reading from the available dead passengers' documents and discussing their photo albums & ID, to leave the impression that they are not forgotten. And head off any remaining objections about burning the plane and the bodies. Loved Emilie's accent as she spoke on and on. Voice under as several others talked. Sort of putting a cap on the episode. Very religious in effect, as if she were speaking at a grave side ceremony. This should make her even more of a sympathetic member of the survivors. And her stepping up with the original memorial idea and actually leading it makes her potentially one of the future leaders among the group. Able to persuade others to work together for a common goal. And her secrets? At this point we have no idea, but they probably center around who the father of her baby is. Or who she is, REALLY... At least that's our thinking at this point.. Or - we just had this thought, since the island seems to be a somewhat magical place, what if Claire's baby is the reason for all of this...? -Gloriana Last edited by Gloryisagod.com; 10-14-2004 at 05:55 PM |

Oh I love Claire in this episode but I'm afraid I ship Charlie and Claire. Yes, one little scene together and I'm all over them. They are the same height and both seem to be alike in some ways.
I would like to know more about Claire though. Sigh. |
