I can remember how excited all of us were about Emilie getting cast. How we were posting pilot trailers and promo pics. I remember watching Lost with my whole family and how my dad figured out the math problem about the radio transmission before Sayid did, and how I was super impressed.

I remember being excited about the pilot. I did love that Emilie was casted but I liked a lot of the other people as well so I was intrigued.

Honestly, since I didn't watch Lost for the first time until after it ended, when I first saw the ads I thought it looked ridiculous and it would be cancelled quickly

I always question how creators can keep a show running when there is only one setting. The Lost writers showed me how it can be done.
