Well, if they are showing last week's and then this week's than it's not really 2 hours.

Grey's Anatomy was new the entire two hours.

It's actually three hours: The already-seen part 1 with new footage as the lead-in and then the new two-hour finale. Grey's only got the extra hour because Lost asked for a 2-hour event, got moved to this week and thus left behind an empty time slot last week. So it's all Lost tonight. I must say that ABC is treating the show and its scheduling very well this year. If only the writers treated their stories and characters this way...

My expectations for a season finale have never been lower.

Still, I hold on to the crazy idea that Locke might somehow try to bait or distract Jack & Sawyer with his knowledge about Claire and the cabin when they come to get Hurley.

same here. I hope I even remember that it's on.

I keep seeing commercials where the pilot guy says they're losing fuel and Jack tells him to not go back to the island and I just feel like it's anti-climatic because we know they make it to the real world and lie their socks off about everything.

Yeah I heard the part 1 extra footage will show more about what went on at the press conference and who the others who survuved the crash but died were.

I a still exicited about the finale, I am avoiding spoilers and previews. Yeah it is kinda anti-climatic since we know they made it off, but I want to see how exactly they did and what happens to the island. I am not sure Ben can go back to the island also. Any couple moments are not important esp Sawyer/Kate and Jack/Kate. I don't mind seeing a Des/Penny reunion.

I'm most looking forward to seeing what happens to the people left on the island, why those people are staying on the island, and how the hell Jin doesn't become an O6er if he's with Sun right now. All the O6 people are at different places at the moment so I want to see how they come together and what kind of deal they make. Seeing Des/Penny reunite will prob be the highlight.

I just have the bad feeling that the fate of everyone on the island or the freighter will be left ambiguous or in limbo.

Which would be a good cliffhanger on any other show or for any other season finale - but the fates of the NotO6ers have already been left ambiguous since May '07. If they try to pull this cliffhanger again, I'm sure there will be disappointment. I know I will feel cheated.

I think a lot of fans will be pissed. Lost causes trouble by not answering questions and leaving people confused and a cliffhanger like that may turn off a lot of people.

That's a given, it mainly concentrates on the O6 and how they left the island, we all knew that. They an't exactly tell us what happens to those left ehind, then there wouldn't be a cliffhanger. They also always have more questions than answers. Only 2 more years left. However, at least i know the storyline will be moving in the finale.

Based on what Emilie is saying, I guess we won't know more about CLaire till next season.
