Hmm...true, she had to do alot of things to survive, but they had alot of quiet times since they split up into teams as well and they didn't explain any grieving there. I think the Lost (and yes, Emilie if she wants to keep positive about the show) are just trying to sweep it under the rug. Which really sucks.

I wouldn't be surprised if all of that is cut since that's what happens to Claire scenes. She doesn't seem that important to whoever puts the final cuts together.
Plus, all the cool stuff Emilie said would happen with Claire in S3 didn't come to be so I have a problem trusting Emilie's word - not that it's her fault, she's prob misinformed.
But I do want to see badass Claire. I get tired of nicey nice characters.

Jazz - I agree. Emilie will prob never talk about her qualms in public, but I find it hard to not be somewhat annoyed with Claire's offscreen grieving.

Sounds like they filmed several. At least one scene must make it into the final cut, come on.

Truthfully the writers still love Claire. In the latest podcast, Carlton says he think Claire is a wonderful character or something to that effect.
