Which shows they are lying somewhere because we all know he didn't die on the day of the crash. As i said, Jack has this story that they are alltelling since they have arrived back to civilization, so who is to say, Jin isn't alive somewhere and they are lying that he died on the island, or thta Jin died on his way back but they are lying to say he died in the crash.

Hey Mouse remember the spoiler I posted back last thread i think, this should clarify it some more.

Spoiler:

Cuse and Lindelof reveal: Ben was telling a truth and a lie [about Widmore]. He is behind the freighter, but he is not there for the reason that Ben says he is. We'll know by the end of season four

I still hold that the reason Sayid is with Ben, is because maybe soemthing happened to Nadia.

Has anyone else heard the spoiler that Claire is suppose to die this season? I've been hearing it from alot of people who have been emailing me about it. Since I'm not watching the show that much, I don't know any spoilers period!

Warning: Very long spoilery rant on what's been going on in the land of spoilers and fan speculation...

In anticipation of the new season I've been "inhaling" spoilers for months now

and IMO there are no solid clues that point to a Claire death. There was an IMDB rumour about episode 7 which was confirmed as false long before the episode aired - but it is brought up again & again & again on message boards. (It has become the new Waaaaaaalt!)

A large percentage of the spoiler-speculating fandom uses Claire like a lifeline whenever a death is rumoured or teased: They're scared silly that it's their favourite character and that's why they proclaim in bold letters that it surely must be Claire because Sawyer/Desmond/Juliet/whoever can't possibly die before we've seen their oh-so-interesting childhood/their first driving lesson/that one time they almost picked their nose behind a tree.

Additionally, many spoiler sources announced a major original 815er would die in episode 7. Seems like they were referring to Jin - only that Jin didn't actually die in the episode. Huh.

Going by the previews, I'd say MichaelKevin tries to blow up the freighter and that something may happen at Camp Locke. I think the redshirts could definitely be in danger - plus Karl or Alex for dramatic effect. If a main Lostie dies this week, it would be the first time nobody knew in advance. Which IMO is unlikely because it was filmed a long time ago. Also, no cast member is scheduled for a talk show appearance the day after.

I could be totally wrong - but I think Claire and Jin are safer than safe for quite a few episodes because everybody and their cat expects them to die because of the Aaron/Kate and the Sun/tombstone scenes.

Wow. That was long... but it has been bothering/amusing me for some time.

at least we will have an answer by the end of the season and not have to wait. I hope there's a lot of ans. by the end of this season.

I read a spoiler that Sayid goes to Nadia's funeral. That pissed me off because Sayid's whole story was to find Nadia and now he can't even end up with her

as for Claire dying, people are convinced she's going to die because of Kate taking Aaron and because tptb do nothing with her.

Well, to be honest, no one is safe on Lost period. Any character could die. that's that. That is the nature of Lost.

I think the person who dies might just be Jin and they're trying to pull our legs a bit for suspence. We know he's dead in the future, but we haven't seen him die yet. So this might just be the episode they show it instead of killing off someone else.

If something really bad happens to the ones who haven't had flash-forwards yet, I assume it will happen closer to the season finale. But we'll see...

Actually, I'm looking forward to see some drama. The creepy freighter stuff is the most exciting story right now. Everybody else sits around waiting.
