oh man it seems like it will be forever before it comes back on...at this point i don't have much hope she'll get anytime 'cause they keep adding new people...it's kinda annoying...

I think the 5 months will go by really fast. It's already been 4 months since the last ep aired.

*sigh* i hope these new people leave asap. stop stealing screentime.

Lost is making such a big mistake, their ratings went down when they had that massive break in between and now they are not starting up till next year? No wonder they keep losing viewers!

Meh, time has gone sooooooooo fast. I remember being pissed off at Lost's move to Sky One at the beginning of S3.

well i know 24 has the schedule of jan-may so maybe it could work to lost benefit...but only if they advertise it right...since the producers all know when the show will end hopefully it has helped movitvate them to move the story along...

They need to find some way to keep Lost's remaining fans interested and maybe pull the old fans back in. What a shame if the show ends as a terribly raited piece of trash. I hope the stories move quickly but not too quickly where nothing feels developed.

Hardly doubt it, 24 already had a solid fan base from years of being on air normally. Lost screwed up the schedule in the third season and then in the fourth season, doing it again. They have to realize that not everyone reads the news or goes on the net to read Lost news to know that they aren't coming back till January. My mom lost complete interest in the show after they kept switching it around. Two of my friends kept missing episodes and then decided to skip it from their lineups.

One of my co-worker was like, "I have kids, I have no time to watch Lost anymore...when is the DVD coming out?"

I think what also hurt Lost is that the 6 eps before the long S3 haitus were not very interesting and slow moving.

Well, not that they weren't interesting but that the series was still relatively new. It hadn't been on the air for more than 3 years yet and they were already messing with the schedule. Changing it from one night to the next is okay, but just confusing the viewers by showing half now and half later....or just not showing till next year....that doesn't bode very well.

Lost had a larger fan base than 24 so I don't understand why the break up in the schedule is bad for Lost, but not 24.

I think Lost needs to speed up a bit.

Unless you're in the 24 fan base, I don't think anyone can make that assumption. But I do know alot of people who watch that show and not Lost. My mom LOVES that show. Thinks it's the best thing on TV. She used to watch Lost but uh, she got lost.

I guess I just automatically assume: larger raitings, Lost fanatics buying the magazine = more fans.
