that what sucks about it filming in Hawaii. I still believe if she lived there she'd get more screentime. I don't know, maybe she requested less screen time, but it's still disappointing. Especially since I look forward to Claire scenes the most.

Good thing Emilie isn't as demanding/selfish as I am about scenes cause then she'd be a real diva.

I think tptb are lost on what to do with Claire. They love Kate but all the other females are background decorations.

lets just hope there's more Claire to come after the break. that's what keeps me watching

Hee, I can actually see Charlie wandering around, messing things up, going "It's not my fault! Don't get the wrong idea! Ghost!Claire told me to throw Aaron down the waterfall!!! I need to baptize him again."

Considering how little screentime Claire has, it would be stupid for the actress not to commute. She'd just sit alone in her Hawaiian house, and Josh and the dog(s) would sit alone in L.A.

If they decided to kill her off at this point, half the audience would probably ask, "Who is this girl???"

What's the point in putting so much effort into the introduction of the tailies only to get rid of them a handful of episodes later? And Mr. Eko is so very pretty to look at, pout!

Probably...or everytime he has a hallicination with Claire involved. I kind of knew that Claire wouldn't be part of the main character "set" since a) she was pregnant when they crashed and now b) she has a baby to look after and she doesn't trust alot of people with Aaron except for the main core group. She will only ask those who have been with her with the crash, not the new people.

I agree that Claire was always intended as a secondary character - but if she's in the main cast, it must be possible to show her more often than an extra. I don't think the baby is the problem. Lost has a very specific episode structure: There are the flashbacks that don't require any baby actor on set or a baby-related story even if Claire is the focus. These flashbacks cover already one half of the episode. For the other half, you have your run-of-the-mill A, B and C plots which move veeeeeeery slowly. Torturing Henry, taking inventory of the food or button discussions may last forever when you watch an episode, but all this B or C plot stuff doesn't have to take more than, say, 3 hours in real time. I wouldn't yell "But where's the mysteriously disappearing kid again??!" if the mommy character did something else for three hours. Even if the writers don't want her on an A-plot jungle adventure, they can still include her without the baby or heavy exposition re: a babysitter.

Sorry, I'm close to ranting.

Well I doubt she would be in Charlie's flashback, he didn't know her until the plane crash so she won't be in it.

I am not sure who will be killed, they can lie in their spoilers recently they have been saying one thing and then something else happens. I doubt they had Locke save Eko 2 episodes ago

But yes, true, Claire was never meant to be a main character. We already knew who were meant to be it. Even the secondary characters are not safe since half of them were killed already!

I'd love to get rid of Kate. It would actually be unexpected *and* leave a vacuum. The group dynamics would have to change. Plus, a Jack/Sawyer co-escape (with lots of guilt and blame over Kate) would be interesting to watch.

To be honest, I don't mind Kate anymore. After having seen Ana and Libby, my Kate hate is gone and never came back.
