I'm not sure if this would go over well, but I just thought of a fictional character from another show that I think that Belle would get along with. Does anyone watch Community? The character of Annie Edison sort of strikes me as a very Belle-like character. They're both bookish, intelligent, insecure, tough, have an idealized view of romance, and Belle's calm nature would kind of balance out Annie's neurotic behavior. Also, Belle's naivety when's first in the "real world" reminds me of Annie's early life innocence.

Uh, I saw this on tumblr and it completely threw me?
 I mean, I kind of want it to be a thing? I think we're beyond them talking out their differences and Regina making amends and all, and if Belle hasn't shown any emotional distress by this point I don't think she ever will. So I do want to see them be friendly, but yet I haven't forgotten S1. But Regina hasn't apologized to anyone except Henry, so I guess we'll have to deal with it. It's a dilemma |

I know what you mean. Like, I love how Lana/Emilie were standing near each other because of their off screen friendship, but I think them being in character - as Belle and Regina - and standing next to each other is weird. Belle SHOULD have emotional distress and anger, and standing near her captor like nothing wrong happened is a
