David Boreanaz - The Rumor: DISCUSS IT HERE ONLY

It has come to our attention lately that there's a disagreement with how the discussion of the rumors should be handled on this board.

We understand BOTH sides. People should be able to talk about it and at the same time people should have the right to not to want see the discussion go on.

Here is our compromise:

We are allowing this thread for the rumor discussion to continue. Note: This is ONLY thread on this board where the latest David rumors are allowed to be discussed in. All other posts regarding the rumor on other threads will be edited out.

Please be respectful. If you don't want to talk about the rumors, then please don't come into this thread.

If you have any issues/concerns, please pm us.

I do NOT want to talk about it any longer. However, I still want to be able to jump to DB's defense if I have to. So... kind of a double-edged sword.

I might check back into this thread now and again, but mostly I'm just going to try to stay away. It makes my stomach turn.

The point is not if it's true or not. Obviously the story has more holes in it than a homeless man's socks. The point is whether or not people believe it and they do. People have been saying some vicious things. Some even said they aren't going to watch Bones anymore. The story has been all over the web including Perez Hilton and about a million people visit his site a day.

I mean some comments are amusing and crazy but most are really upsetting like these..

"It was a known fact that he cheated on his first wife Ingrid and thats why they got a divorce. He made it big on Buffy and fame went to his head and his penis went to the Playboy mansion. Ingrid got fed up and they split. Once a cheat always a cheat."

"He's dead to me. DEAD TO ME. He's as much of a man-whore as James Marsters, only worse because Marsters was divorced long before he started man-whoring around. Boreanaz is a lousy CHEATER. His poor little children. MAN-WHORE."

Not to mention all the people saying they believe it because David sent texts to their friends or family members asking them to sleep with them or saying he sent them naked photos.

Well it's obvious where those posts are coming from. JM has this big reputation as being a man-whore and now some people who like him are glad to have a chance to stick it to DB.

Who cares what they think?

I never write anything off

I'm only a viewer and I don't know any of these people intimately enough to know the truth about what goes on in their everyday lives

I think like an accountant so I would say that IMO it's highly unlikely that this happened.

I love DB and I'll stick by him no matter what but I don't know him personally. And I don't know the girl. So I can't really have a definite answer on this. Based on what I know of him, I would say that this is total bull****.

Clearly some of the people have a bias against David but not all of them seemed to. Some just believed it because it's on the internet. That is why I wanted David to make some kind of statement because right now his name is being slandered. I think it's a vicious rumor but I could not careless if he actually cheated because that's HIS personal business. I honestly cared more about the fact that this is bad press for Bones.

Then there were the people putting things like...

"This is likely a true story. I have a family member who lives in Park City, Utah and she met David at a club during the Sundance Film festival in Jan. 08. He texted her after invited her over( said he owns a house there) and other things I won't mention due to her privacy but she rejected the offers due to being happily married for 15 years and the fact that he's married! I saw the texts and she has pictures with him( friendly) but what a cheater. I think he apparantly has a womanizing problem."

"Not surprising. In 2005 at the SOHO GRAND he wasn't exactly the model husband. He came and sat at the packed bar they have outside in the summer with get this- a paperback book- and proceded to order a burger and 'read'. This blond gal started hitting on him, and they spent the entire night hanging out together-he bought her drinks, put away his book, and it was clearly game on. I kept thinking 'dude, aren't you newly married with a kid?"

Not that I believe random comments without any actual proof but there are comments like that all over the place. People think he is like the biggest scumbag in the world now.
