There were so many times I watched S6 and wanted to scream in frustration at the wasted B/A and B/Aus potential. The writers wanted to seperate the shows at the worst possible time when both Buffy and Angel needed each other the most.

Yeah. It was a sign about the content of the show and how much it was lacking. OMWF saved that season for most people.
