I hated how they treated him when he came back in S3...it's like, he had changed back, give him a break. I agree, he didn't owe them anything. I also always hated how Xander treated him...he was the worst in my eyes (well, other than Spike, obviously), with his actions towards him. I mean, I always blame him for how things went down in the S2 finale, had he only told Buffy the truth about Willow trying the spell again, instead of giving his 'Kick his ass' message, I like to think tings would have gone down differently. And then his whole 'It's nice to know when the chips are down you'll feed off your girlfriend to save your own ass' in the S3 finale...that seriously pissed me off. Angel didn't want to, Buffy made him! There's a difference. Sorry...I'm just really defensive when it comes to Angel.

yep, Xander really ticked me off in Revelations, the way he was all gung-ho to kill Angel. It was all based on his jealousy of Angel cos Buffy loved A and not X. He totally couldn't understand that Angel was good again cos he just didn't want to and he just forgot all the good that Angel did. Faith could be forgiven cos she never met soul boy before but Xander did he new! grr!!!

Xander pretty much pissed me off every single time it came to Angel. I understood that he was jealous but how could he not see how much Angel loved Buffy and vice versa. He just couldn't grasp the fact that Angel and Angelus were two different people, yet he treated it like Angel was finally revealing himself in S2. Than when Angel comes back he's all gung-ho about killing him when he should have been focusing on his girlfriend instead!

I will never, ever forgive Xander for not telling Buffy that Willow had started the spell to re-soul Angel. And he's still keeping it a secret! What a horrible friend

I completely agree with you. When it comes down to Angel & xander I always wanted to bitchslap Xander & up till now everytime I watch "Becoming 2" & "Selfless" I get more pissed at him.

Dude I totally agree! I'm not a big Xander fan... I don't hate him like i do Spike but i don't care for his character at all.

I totally think becoming finale would have ended ALOT differently if he had gotten his petty jealousy out of the way! And Angel wouldn't have gone to hell!!!

Yep, Xander was majorly to blame with how things went down at the end of S2 grr!!! but then we wouldn't have had that very hot naked Angel return in B3.3, yes I am a shallow fangirl and proud

Xander and Spike are both so alike. They both can't help comparing themselves to Angel. And falling short...

Seriously, I get being jealous, but Xander should have just grown up! He confessed his feelings for Buffy in the S1 finale, and she let him down easily, letting him know she didn't feel the same way. And he had to give his 'must hot have a pulse to be with you' kinda comment, which irked me too.

I know 'Becoming, Pt 2' wouldn't have been the same and the storyline for S3 wouldn't have been what it was, had Angel not been sucked into hell...which did make for a truly heartbreaking BA moment, which is something they just master. However, I do always think of just how differently things could have been, how BA wouldn't have had to be torn apart, yet again, for circumstances which had been out of their control, but could have been, had Buffy only known the truth.

I finally watched that moment in S7 where Buffy brings up having to kill Angel in S2...the quote she says is amazing! How she would have given up everything she had to be with him and how she loved Angel more than she'd love anything in this life.

I also agree about that comment made about Faith (though, I'm a huge Faith fan, so I could be a bit biased), she hadn't known Angel at all before or after, she it was all knew to her, at least after that she didn't try it again, kinda like Kendra that one time. But Xander knew, he knew Angel was different than Angelus. He was just too immature to get over himself.

Amy that is amazing art work, very beautiful.....IWRY, is one of my favs, David was just so brilliant and the scene were he comes back to the office alive, C&D reactions were just priceless, especially when he began to eat. B&A were pure love the whole way through-her turning up,the sewer talk, the big outdoor kiss,the chat if they should rush things,the bed scene,ice cream,the fight,saying goodbye-too much to bear *sniffle*

SMG and DB were both at their best that episode.
