I don't know how people can hate Angel?! I guess it's probably because they have to hate Angel just so they can love Spike or some nonsense like that.

Yep.. that's exaclty the reason.

Most people think Spike is so much cooler and hotter than Angel. We'll I personally for one never saw the big deal about Spike.

I mean.. he's funny and everything when he's not whining about Buffy..but other than that.. I don't get the huge deal about him.

ITA! I mean, Spike has his good points. went and asked for his soul...helped the Scoobies when they needed it...*but* in my book...the Shanshu was about Angel. he was *given* his soul...to me, that translates to 'you were destined for it'.

God knows I like JM...but out of the two vamps...? Angel all the way.

I hated that too. I think it just showed how they'd run out of ideas. His 'soul' storyline was completely lame compared to Angel's though, also just my opinion.

Please add me! Angel is my favorite Buffy/Angel character ever, then Angelus. He just owned. And out of all the Vampire/Mortal storylines/romances, he's the ultimate and will always be the original for me.

I was watching a music vid on youtube and it was comparing the b/a sotry to the s/p story and like everything spuffy related was a ripoff like there was the scene in passions where Buffy gets the invite order reversed and she shuts the door in Angelus' face and then they swop to when she does the exact.same.thing to spike in s... ok i don't know what season

it was so annoying! cuz there were ALOT more of those kind of scenes!

Omg, I really have to contain my Spuffy/Spike (post S3) hatred, 'cause it can get ugly.

However I will say, it was just that, nothing but a cheap imitation of the amazing-ness of BA. End of point.

EEK. I never felt that, It's has always been Angel/David for me. In fact, I liked Spike/James like in BTVS season 2/3, but that was it. But once they started to go with the Spuffy route, I can certainly tell you, my hatred for the character goes beyond description. I wish there is a stronger word than "hatred". It was disgusting. On the other hand, Angel was so cute, funny & had many layers that makes you fall in love with him every time you see him.

Angel(us) > Spike anyday! That's how I see it.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in those feelings towards Spike. It was really gross and just vile...I couldn't believe the stuff they got away with. And to think even when Angel became Angelus he never did anything like that and scenes were repulsive like that.

I know! Even though i was devastated with the end of B/A when Angelus returned i still looked forward to watching him onscreen. Angelus was just so hot, and sexy and... hot!
