I liked him myself, he was endearing and cute and so lovable. Unlike other characters who were intended to be obstacles for my couples on various shows, I didn't dislike him at all. I felt bad for him, because he loved Cordelia so much and she deserved that more than anything. But he wasn't who her heart belonged to in the end, and he knew it. Walking away must have hurt like hell, but he did it because he knew he wasn't Cordelia's true love and he wanted her to be truly happy. I kinda wish we'd found out how he ended up...
