| Cool, a Maria/Amy thread!! That's a great idea Dana. Thanx for starting it. Okay then, let's get started with Season 1! I like the scene in Independence Day where Maria get's home with Liz and Amy tries to hide Jim in her room. | Yeah, that alien thing on the Jetta is really cool. I love everything alien related since Roswell  .I've always wanted to see amy's shop. | It was so weird because their relationship is very similar to the one my mom and I have. We talk and all that but we never give out to much info or tell everything... although I dont have the huge secret that I know aliens do exist, I think then my mom would officially lock me up in the looney bin! I love Diane she is a wonderful actress, so I thought it was so wonderful for her and Maj to play mom and daughter...so cute. Too bad they didn't have alot of good scenes together. There was The Convention (their guy talk was funny!) Independence Day, Cry Your Name (amy comforting maria was so sweet, yet so sad), Off The Menu and I can't think of any more other than that __________________ Cordy - Jonny was born on 10-10 at 8:43 am weight 7lbs 10oz lenght 21in | |||

| I don't know about that.... My mum and I have a great relationship... Like Maria and her mom.... Just like Amy, my mum, once upon a time, would have had a fit with me having a guy in my bed.... I wasn't even allowed to have them stay the night in the same room, they had to sleep in the lounge.... But she often didn't know that I was heading to Wellington (an hour away by car from where I live) at ten pm... If she had she wouldn't have minded. My mum's awesome. One time I headed to Wgtn and didn't get back to 6am... When she asked, I told her, and she was cool with it. I was 16 at the time. I mean, Amy can be forceful with her daughter... With a daughter like Maria, who wouldn't be?... but they had a good relationship. I think that their relationship is one of the best to have with mothers... Friendly, can talk to each other, that sort of thing. The one thing I've found tho, coz all my friends parents are hitting their 50's and 60's, but my mum's not even 40 yet, is that younger parents are closer with their kids even if they do have the same personality traights. Oh well... Anyways, I think this is a cool discussion thread, and providing someone answers, I'll be back. Tahra __________________ | |||

| Yea.. I know a few like that... But for most of them it's a combo of being like their mothers, and having their mothers being quite a lot older... Mine's only twenty years older than me, and I've got friends who are older than her, so my mum and I get on quite well. Altho we've both got the firey temper... Tahra __________________ | |||

| My mom is like 40 years older than me but I think it's cool I have 3 siblings, all older than me and I think it's good to have a family with all ages. Makes it easier to talk to different people about different things.__________________ Support Joy and buy her EP on iTunes and CD Baby | |||
