The Ziff Who Came To Dinner (updated 4/11/04)
As always, from The Simpsons Archive.
Jon Lovitz returns as Artie Ziff, who went bust along with his Internet company, so he moves in with Homer. __________________

Oy! I'm fed up with actually having a life on Sundays. (Okay, practicing a debate isn't actually having a life, but you don't need to know that.) From what I saw though, it seemed like a decent episode.

I only saw bits and pieces of the episode and it was pretty funny, especially when Homer and Artie went to Moe`s and saw the other characters that Jon Lovitz also voiced in his previous guest appearances on the show like Jay Sherman(The Critic) sitting at the bar.

Yeah, this ep was definiately one of the better eps of the season. I think the funniest part was when they were at the movie theater and all the movies had funny titles:
"The Fashion of the Christ" "From Justin to Kelly 4" "You're in the Matrix, Charlie Brown" "A Matrix Christmas" __________________

And for the record, I still call my local Blockbuster the Beta Barn. __________________

As part of a special 90-minute Simpsons mini-marathon, this episode will re-air tonight (4/11).

When I was first watching this ep, I thought I'd made a mistake announcing that this was going to re-air. It took a while for them to set up Artie's appearance. And wasn't his appearance a parody of a movie, where some guy is living in the attic and the family doesn't know?
