When Marge is reminded of her vacations to Barnacle Bay as a child, Homer takes the family there, only to discover that it is rundown, so Homer decides to restore it, only to cause more problems with the locals when he burns down the merry-go-round.

After watching the episode, the first question that comes to mind is...are the Van Houtens back together?

Cyn- yeah they got together again I think it was in one of the early episodes this season or last season. Can't quite remember.

It was a good episode

I loved the beginning when The Simpsons and the Van Houtens were trying to see who got first to the last spot in park

It was great to finally see Ling and Jub Jub, even though we just saw them for a few seconds.

Marge and her memories of Barnacle Bay and then when they take her back it's all filthy and bums are now living there.

Gotta love that Homer thought he was in Atlantis and he was choking on some seaweed

Great episode last night. I really love how Homer went to various lengths to make Marge happy, especially when he converted the old home movie on DVD and download to iPod.

I missed this one, but I am surprised that the Van Houtens are back together. Missed that ep too.

I remember seeing Ling - Jub Jub was also there?

The dock fire caught me off guard I guess I should have known since he was doing so well choreographing the fireworks.

I loved that Homer put the effort to make the home movie into a dvd for Marge and then when he at least tried to put it into her Ipod.

Yep Jub Jub was also there he was on Selma's neck.

Homer could've easily stopped the fire because it was so small put of course that wasn't the case

That's not characteristic of Homer, to think of Marge first. Usually, he thinks of himself then winds up getting into trouble because of it.

Poor Bart and Lisa who had to manually power the carousel lol.

Well, he didn't have the swastika eyes when Marge was younger. So it's kind of ironic his name was Mr. Happygoodfeeling.
