From The Simpsons Archive

A Test Before Trying
Episode RABF03

Bart, the only student at Springfield Elementary to miss the state testing, has to do extremely well on the makeup test in order for the school to avoid being closed for having too low of an average; Homer uses a discarded parking meter to make some extra money by planting it at various places around town.

The opening sequence is a movie parody. It was a bit longer but good.

I loooved the opening sequence! & Was that asteroid suppose to be a continuation from the end of the last episode?

"If you don't know one select B and move on. Now, what is the capital of Massachusetts?" "Uh B?" "Very good."

& Omg Marge with her extra sheet of paper towel.

I'm not sure if it was a continuation, Crystal. I thought it was a generic "Apocalypse" movie parody. Good eye though!

And we found out that Moleman has a family!

Towards the beginning. Moleman was in the hospital, and his family was in the room.

Poor Moleman, doesn't get respect even in his own family.

We haven't even discussed the parking meter! It was funny seeing Homer both happy and miserable with the parking meter. I don't think it was worth lugging something 90 lbs. around town.

Yeah, I can't see that he would have made a lot of money from it, considering it was all change. Surely he's going to lose money from being docked pay at the Power Plant?
As for the mannequin heads, maybe Moe just wants some friends?

Homer probably got some body double or something to fill in for him at the power plant. He always seems to get away with things like that.

Friends or he's into some really weird stuff...

Maybe Homer kept one of the clones he got from his magic hammock in that TOH episode?
As for Moe, yes I'm sure he is into weird stuff. As to whether or not the mannequin heads have anything to do with that weird stuff, I don't think I want to know!
