New opening credits? That'll be...interesting. I don't have HD so I'm not sure how they'll affect me.

The new opening credits kind of reminded me of the one shown after they released The Simpsons Movie. There were a lot more characters making cameos. And we got a chalkboard gag referring to HDTV.

I didn't notice the difference to be honest. I don't have an HDTV, so that's probably why.
I liked the new credits. I was surprised. Cyn, you're right, it's like the movie. __________________

Pia, if you have standard tv, I believe the new credits appeared in widescreen.

I liked the new opening credits...love how the credits where the same but with more cameos and updated.
The animation to me looked liked the movie. I don't have an HDTV either. I'm wondering now if all the eps are going to be like this or will they switch back?  __________________

I'm not sure if that will become the new opening. I wouldn't mind it. They even had Apu and Manjula and the kids in it.
I can't believe Lenny and Carl rebelled by not going to college. __________________
