"Super Franchise Me" - Episode Discussion

From The Simpsons Archive

Super Franchise Me
Episode SABF19

Marge opens up a franchise sandwich shop, only for the same franchise to open up another location in Springfield - across the street.

Cool, TFTNT! Sounds like it could be a good story in this episode.

I hope we'll have a good episode. Although the storyline does remind me a lot that episode where Marge sells pretzels and the other women started selling their food at the same area.

That storyline was mentioned in the original posting of the episode information on The Simpsons Archive.

It was an ok episode. It was surprising who owned the other franchise.

Aren't there child labor laws in Springfield? Maybe Lisa and Bart working would be ok, but Maggie at the register?!?

are there any laws at all in Springfield?
yeah, this ep wasn't much but it had its funny parts. I liked Ned at the beginning xd "that's a higher power than even I believe in!". and Mr. Burns falling for the standee, and how Marge got their money back for the store using Homer. "I was just about to become a million-dollar crotch model"

I liked this episode, I'll have to watch it again though as I was distracted with Thanksgiving dinner.

I didn't understand the last scene with caveman Homer chasing the animal.

The two scenes that made me laugh:

1) when Ned finds out that Homer was using his electricity to power his ferris wheel

2) when Homer gets all those syringes in the crotch
