Simple Simpson (5/2 Discussion)
An extremely vague description from the Simpsons Archive:
"Springfield. A town where villains run rampant while the police force sits around waiting for the next box of donuts to arrive. But wait - in the shadows - what's that? Is it law and order? Is it a low-flying blimp? Is it dessert? Yes - for criminals, it's their just desserts, served up fresh by Pie Man." Yeah. I don't get it either. __________________

I didn't understand it either when I read it last week. That was before they were showing the previews. Homer is a super hero.
Homer Guy, Homer Guy Hits the villains, with a pie... __________________

Ahh, now I get the "Simple Simpson" title. It comes from Simple Simon
Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair; says Simple Simon to the pieman let me taste your ware... I thought the Batman couch gag was very appropriate. __________________
