Sibling Rivalry #1: Because Bart always defends Lisa from bullies.
They may get into arguments and, hell, all out slapfights, but Bart and Lisa are at heart two siblings who love each other to the end. They share interests, such as Itchy & Scratchy and prank-calling Moe's Bar, and always share involvement in numerous exploits. Bart may tease, and Lisa may complain, but in the end, the team they make up comes out on top--even if a hockey stadium has to be sacrificed in the process. And they are always the ones who manage to cheer the other one up best. Because inside, but not too far inside that it isn't obvious--because it IS--they are possibly one of The most loving sibling pairs to grace viewers. Rivals: 1. Airie 2. Grilka 3. Sunnyolaf 4. The first episode that comes to mind is "Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore". It's from last season where Milhouse moves to Capitol City, so Bart finds a new best friend -- Lisa. But then Milhouse moves back, and Milhouse returns to best friend status. In the end, Bart creates a board game with these cards, favors that Bart will do for Lisa.

That's so cute.
I haven't watched the show lately, but it is like The show of my life. I love it. It means a lot to me. So this is just... It's going on the list, totally. Now, can someone give me titles for these episodes: 1) The one with flashbacks to Lisa's birth and her first word being "Bart." 2) The one with Lisa's pageant, when Bart tells her she's not ugly. 3) The Michael Jackson one. 4) The one where they play on rival hockey teams. 5) That early one where Bart defends Lisa from bullies. Season 1, I think it is. Gah, I love guys with little sisters. Last edited by Airie; 05-30-2006 at 04:00 PM |

Add me to the list
I love Bart and Lisa I also loved that episode from last season when Milhouse leaves and Lisa becomes Bart's best friend. There have been so many great episode with these two. I also like the one where they move Lisa to the 3rd grade and Bart stays in 3rd and they go on a field trip and leave them there. So many aww moments. Love that flashback episode where Lisa's first word is "Bart" __________________

By the third grade one, do you mean the one where Bart destroys Lisa's flag and they end up in the forest with a guy who thinks his wife is a bear?
'Cause I did a project for my child development class on that episode! (Whether or not this show is appropriate for children; now, I'm biased, because I've been watching it since I was three, but I think I made a good, objective case for why it's okay. ) Anyway, Firestar! |

Add me, please.
I love all the episodes you've named, but The Secret War of Lisa Simpson has to be my favorite, Bart/Lisa-wise. I love how Bart trains her in secret while continuing to ignore her in front of the other kids, then in the end encourages her and isn't afraid of what everyone else thinks. __________________
