I noticed there was plenty of continuity in the episode. Ling and Jub Jub are still with Selma and Patty. Burns and Grampa are fighting for Marge's mom's attention. Selma kept a contact list of her ex-husbands.

One of my favorite scenes was when Patty mentioned she would sleep on the couch, but Homer told her they were using it for the couch gag. They cut back to the couch, and the couch gag from the episode is still there.

I loved this episode! Maggies storyline was my favourite, it's been forever since we've had a storyline about Maggie. (Also, yes, Spider pig!)

& I liked that they mentioned Marge's dad and how they never talk about him.

It reminded me of the storyline when the babies were escaping from the day care. I think it was a parody of the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
