I think it could be "When You Dish Upon a Star" from Season 10. Ron Howard pitches a script to Brian Grazer at the end of the episode. It's the same one where Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger guest star.

Hey i'm a new member. I've had a scene in my head off and on for about 2 months now where something happens and martin is talking, then Nelson lunges at him, knocking him down and just starts beating him and slamming him off of the ground. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, I can't remember the episode it's out of. Does anyone know?

There is a Nelson Muntz file here. Do a "Find on this page" for 'Nelson Attacks Martin'. There's a list of about a dozen or so episodes under that category.

Then you're going to have to provide more information about the episode. What was the main storyline? Any guest stars? What is that something that happened to cause Nelson to beat up Martin?

I don't know, if i could remember any of that it wouldn't have been months to figure out the episode. martin is talking and then nelson just comes flying into the screen takes martin down and just wails on him punching and slamming him off of the ground. it's a rare beating, it's the only one that's so vicious. just before the attack, is the significant part of the show. i've watched over 100 episodes to try and figure it out to no avail.

There was an episode where everyone, including Nelson, thought Martin was dead. Nelson beats up Martin after they find out he was alive.

There was another episode where both of them went to Space Camp. Martin and Nelson got along, but Nelson returned to beating up Martin when they returned to camp.
