When the adjustable rate on Homer's home mortgage (taken out to pay for Homer's annual Mardi Gras parties) increases drastically and Homer can't make the payments, 742 Evergreen Terrace is sold...to Flanders, who rents it back to Homer...at least until Homer demands that his new landlord do the needed repairs on the house.

I think Ned can be a masochist at times. He tries to be a good neighbor/friend to Homer, but Homer doesn't appreciate his generosity....again.

I know I think he is too...with all the things that Homer does and yet still Ned puts up with it.

I was pleasantly surprised when Homer had to take care of the gift he left for the new owners, only to learn it was flowers along with a nice card.

I hope they continue this storyline and not drop it. It would be interesting.

Overall, I can't say I loved this ep.
