The Simpsons - the new (HD) intro

There was a brief discussion under one of the episode threads regarding the new intro. I thought it deserved its own thread. So what are your thoughts on it?

Everytime I see it, I catch something new. For example, I think, and I could be wrong, the bird shown when the chorus says "The Simpsons...." doesn't always fly in the same direction.

I like the new intro as well. Yeah I also notice new things everytime I see it. Cool I will have to pay attention about the bird in the beginning.

Also are my eyes deceiving me or does the bird have 3 eyes?

I didn't check that Liz, must pay more attention next time.

Are Sherri and Terri texting during band practice? I can't tell if they are doing that or playing a handheld game.

Yes, the crow does have 3 eyes.

I assumed Sherri and Terri were texting.

Cool about the crow having 3 eyes I thought my eyes were deceiving me because I watched the intro at Hulu.

Was the three-eyed bird in the movie? I would have expected to see the three-eyed fish instead.

I don't remember if there was a 3-eyed bird in the movie. But I would be expecting the fish.

This isn't really part of the intro, but I've noticed that instead of going to commercial right after the intro, the storyline starts.

Yeah I've noticed that also Cyn.

Also sometimes the HD TV at the end sometimes falls down and breaks and other times it stays on the wall.

I've noticed the falling tv. I kinda wonder if the tv is also HDTV when they show it on the episode or if it's back to the old tv set.

I believe the price scanned when maggie goes through checkout has increased to about $485 and change.
