After causing a ruckus at Springfield Mall (where Lisa is getting a Mapple Mypod), Bart befriends a Muslim boy, only for Homer to insult his family, go to their house to apologize, and discover what he thinks is a plot to blow up the mall.

I was a bit pessimistic prior to the airing. How were the writers going to portray the Muslim family, especially that last line above, about the plot to blow up the mall? With the Mumbai attacks occurring just days before this was to air, would Fox postpone the episode airing?

But I thought overall the episode was good. I would like to see the family in future episodes.

The stuff with the Muslim family was good. The stuff with Mapple was brilliant.

Hilarious episode!

The Mapple jokes, alone. They just totally hit it on the nose. I loved that Lisa had a 1200 dollar bill for all the songs/videos she downloaded.

And how she had to work it off!

The Muslim family storyline was funny, too. Bashir... loved the "Bash here" comment from the bullies. And the "church of Moe"

OMG!

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode!

One of my favorite scenes was Homer trying to entrap the family with the USA flag cake. They were damned if they wanted to cut into the cake, damned if they didn't want to cut into it.

I thought this was a good episode. I just caught it on Hulu.com. I thought it was tastefully done, considering the circumstances of the world.

Loved the "Mapple" jokes.

They aired the episode again tonight. I didn't remember the scene where Homer was spying on the Bin Laden family then tried to sneak away. Only he ran into trash cans, which turned on the leaf blower, and eventually knocked over a box of cymbals.
