Matt Groening: B/C his initials make up Homer's hair and ear!
I also couldn't find a Matt Groening thread which is terrible because he created the show. I apologize for the lame title I came up with, I'm horrible at that.
So, does anyone want to see any new projects from him or do you want him to concentrate on the Simpsons? There apparently seems to be a Futurama movie in the works. __________________

I like the title of the thread
 It would be cool to see him work on some new projects but I hope he keeps focus on the Simpsons because sometimes when creators start new projects they focus more on their new project instead of what they had before. That's pretty cool about the Futurama movie in the works, I liked that show  __________________

Yeah, I kind of want him to keep most of his focus on the Simpsons, but at the same time, I loved Futurama and the Simpsons was still doing fine when that was going on, so I don't really think the show was negatively affected by it.
It's probably hard to start new projects after doing the Simpsons though. Since it's such a classic and long-running show everyone will probably always compare everything else he does to the Simpsons. __________________

Just checked some of my L.A. Weekly papers and they're not rabbits that he does
 I think that was just one of the comic strips for that week or something. But the comic strip is called "Life In Hell" I wish I had a scanner so I could scan them. When I go back to school in a few weeks I'll scan them __________________

So I know Homer is named after his son Homer. Has he named other characters after family members?
